 		 All devices can be sanitized to DoD 3 pass, and 7 pass military specifications, or higher.
  • DoD 5220.22-M(E) is the process of overwriting a disk with a 3 pass process.
  • DoD 5220.22-M(ECE) is the process of overwriting a disk with a 7 pass process that includes DoD 5220.22-M(C) with pseudo random values for step 4.

Asset Redeployment All devices are restored to the manufacturer's original specifications by SMS engineers.  Your equipment can be caged and stored by SMS until you are ready to re-deploy these assets within your own company.

Asset Purchase SMS believes that keeping some equipment in service is better for the environment than acquiring new equipment.  SMS will sanitize your equipment and then purchase it from you using service credits or cash,  and repurpose the asset.
